The Ski Club of Victoria requires experienced Chefs for the 2015 Winter season to join our team. The Ski Club of Victoria is an established icon situated in the village at Mt Buller right on Bourke Street (main access run). If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding position in a fun and unique environment, this is the place for you!! The successful applicant will be passionate, hands on, self motivated, reliable, and be willing to work to meet the fluctuating demands of the business. We cater to a diverse group of passionate ski enthusiasts including members, school groups, staff and the general public. Duties and Responsibilities; Produce food items to a consistently high standard Maintain a safe, vibrant and happy work environment Maintain quality control and stock control Assist the chef and other staff members Maintain Food Safety records and procedures Assist with ordering Maintain a clean and tidy work environment Skills and qualifications Recognised Chef qualification Recognised Food safety qualifications Ability to prepare a large variety of foods to a consistently high standard in a timely manner Ability to work in a team in a productive and cohesive manner Occupational Health and Safety knowledge Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to be flexible and adjust to varying customer requirements Strong problem solving ability In return The Ski Club of Victoria will offer above award wages with great benefits.
