Food and beverages for lunch & dinner and snacks (or purchase at the Mt Buller supermarket, or eat out at the many restaurants)

Check in, Check out ***
Official times are 4 pm for both, but for check-in guests you are welcome to come earlier in the day and ski your heart out, but you may not be able to use the kitchen prior to 4 pm except to enjoy a coffee of tea. This is to ensure that there is no overlap congestion with guests, particularly at busy lunchtimes. Of course if the lodge is not full, then this will not be an issue. We simply ask that you always check with the manager first and if the manager is not at the lodge at the time of your check in, then his or her mobile number will be located on the whiteboard above the public phone.

Early Arrivals:
You are welcome to leave you gear neatly in the alcoves at the end of the hallways on both floors, or on the mezzanine on the upper floor, along with your food & beverages.* Any 'sensitive' food that requires refrigeration you can leave in the snow outside the corridor exit doors, unless of course there is 'community' shelving available in either of the fridges at that time (quite possible).
Please check this out with the Manager at the time.
We will always endeavour to accommodate your needs re refrigeration prior to official book-in time, but if the lodge is full and fridges are full, then you will be asked to store food for the few hours required until official book-in time. *Please note: Incoming guests who arrive early, please do not leave your belongings in the entry foyer as this area is designed for outgoing guests' luggage while waiting for a taxi down the mountain. (It is also, of course, the storage area for skis and snowboards).

Departing guests:
All food located in your designated drawers in the refrigerators and food lockers must be completely cleared by 4pm on the date of your departure. The only exception to this is if there is no-one booked into your room that day, and if that be the case then you are of course welcome to leave everything until your departure that evening. (Check first with the Manager).
Please do not leave any leftover food. Deposit any leftover food in the rubbish bin, unless otherwise arranged with the Manager.

Having friends over for lunch, dinner, or after-ski drinks
We welcome you to have friends over, but if it is more than say three or four people we would ask that you first check with the Manager. This is to avoid dislocation of other guests if we have a full lodge. It is up to you to ensure that your guests conduct themselves in a responsible manner.

Cleaning Up
It is the responsibility of all to ensure that they clean up every item after them, and where children are concerned parents must keep an eye out to clean up after them and to also ensure that all items are placed neatly in the dishwasher (not the sink!), and if full to activate the dishwasher.
It is everyone's responsibility to empty the dishwasher after it has gone through its cycle.

Put your things away
For the convenience of other guests, no clothes or footwear should be left in the communal areas.

No bare feet
Bare feet in communal area is also not permitted.

Mobile phone use:
No problems with answering a phone in the communal area, but we respectfully ask that you immediately move from the area to continue your conversation.

Noise/behavior policy
We pride ourselves on running a lodge which oozes with friendly ambience. Loud or unruly behavior is not acceptable, and the manager has the right to exercise whatever action is warranted to ensure the smooth operation of the club, 24/7.

Consumption of alcohol
You are welcome to bring and consume alcohol on the premises so long as it is undertaken in a constrained, responsible, and non-disruptive manner to other guests. Under age drinking is against the law and will not be permitted.
