APARTMENTS: These luxurious apartments are ideal for couples travelling together or families requiring individual privacy and spacious living areas for relaxing, cooking and dining. KAPTANS RESTAURANT: Kaptans has long been a favourite of many a regular Mt Buller sker. A stay at Mt Buller is not complete without having dinner at this well known restaurant. Delicious regional cuisine and Austrian specialties are served in a traditional alpine setting, surrounded by wood carvings and artefacts depicting Mt Buller's history. Kaptans' is open daily for dinner from 6.00pm and for lunch at weekends from 12 noon to 2.00pm. Children are most welcome and a comprehensive kids' menu is available between 6.00 & 7.00pm. Reservations for dinner are recommended.
HERBIES BAR: You'll never know who you'll run into here. Enjoy an apres ski schnaps, pre-dinner cocktail or nightcap in this intimate and cosy cocktail bar. If only the photographs on the walls could tell their stories, but as they can't proprietor Hans Grimus is only too happy to oblige.
GRIMUS SKI CENTRE: Enjoy the hassle-free convenience of hiring on mountain, especially if you need to change or adjust any of your equipment. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the competitive rates available for individuals and groups. Located in-house on the ground floor of the hotel, the Grimus Ski Centre stocks a vast range of the latest in skis and snowboards to suit all standards as well as parkas and ski pants to fit all sizes. The attentive and experienced staff povide knowledgable and speedy fitting of equipment. Not staying at the hotel, then just take the free village shuttle to and from your lodge and visit the Grimus Ski Centre. Carry bags are available to help get everything back to your lodge easily.
